Hi, I'm Faryn!

I'm Faryn Schwartz,  I have been in the wellness industry for 25 years; 20 years as the Founder of getfitwithfaryn! Being a Fitness Coach and Wellness Expert brings me so much joy, but did not happen overnight! In fact it’s taken all of these years to really feel like I’ve earned this. I have been active my entire life. Growing up a dancer and a runner, led to eventually becoming a distance runner, participating in gymnastics, karate, boxing and practicing yoga, and where my story began by stepping into a gym at the age of 15.

Throughout the past 25 years I found a deep connection and passion for movement. It began with a passion for helping people, health and fitness and grew enormously into a mission. This is my way of giving back. For me this isn’t about the latest fitness or diet trend, or social media followers. This is about community coming together as a collective effort to help others in wellness by, helping eliminate pain from people’s bodies, and helping people feel better and stronger mentally, emotionally and physically. This passion has grown over the years and is why I am still doing what I love today. I am very detailed. It is because of this, that I feel it is really important to get to know you and how I can help you. For example; where do you want to be, how do you want to feel, and what makes you… you. I want to get to know you and learn how I can best help you to integrate
wellness into your life.

Your 1st initial session with me will involve a review of paperwork, a deep dive in your health and activity history, goal setting, and end with a brief nutrition chat and an open Q&A. Moving forward into the 2nd session, we will go through a series of movement patterns to see where you are currently with balance, stability, flexibility, mobility and strength. This allows me to get an idea of where I need to guide you when starting out properly and safely. I believe in a slow and steady approach. I will not put you through an initial boot camp workout. You will receive individualized workouts, nutrition and mindfulness based on your specific needs, wants, history and goals. If you have kiddos no problem, they are always welcome to join in our sessions. Whether it’s at home together, at my private gym or virtually, and if your little one is an infant, I can include exercises you both can do together. I want this to be a safe place for stress relief, releasing, joy, empowerment, confidence building, venting, and anything else you may need! This is your time.
